I see the world through words. From the time I was small, this has always remained at the core of who I am. I began to write as soon as I learned that books didn’t grow in the library, but that real people had written them. My heart belongs to fiction. I don’t distinguish between novels, plays, film…. The stories do, and I tell them as they ask to be told.

and I would do better to make some
soup and light up the cave.”
Anne Sexton, The Fury of Rain Storms
